Welcome to my page!

   I was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC.  I started drumming at 24, mainly as a means to jam with my brother. Drums spoke to me more than any other instrument, so I began taking formal lessons with several notable teachers in the area which  helped me advance quickly.  I then joined my first band, and a few years later I helped teach percussion at a music conservatory!

   I have always felt the need to play as many styles of music as I can, so during my time in NC I was fortunate to play folk, country, reggae, jazz, and even some hip hop!  The experience I gained in NC was invaluable, and helped me confidently make the move to Austin, Texas, where I currently reside!

   Since moving to Austin I have been smiled upon by the Universe and have been fortunate enough to share the stage with these fine performers:
